Qing Xin/Namaxia, Alishan, Taiwan, 1990, reroasted in 1998 (Elevation: 1,200m)
It’s really hard to find aged Qing Xin oolong tea that is both well-made from the beginning and well-aged. Many aged teas in Taiwan start from poor quality leaves that don’t sell and are later aged. You should think about that when you buy some cheap aged oolongs. Our 1990 Alishan is different because its quality leaves were originally intended for aging. This premium aged tea has been aged in a ceramic jar for almost 30 years.

Reroasting gives the tea rich flavors such as hints of cinnamon and coffee beans. Overall, this 1990 Alishan aged oolong tea is smooth and well balanced with a unique peach scent and acidity.
