Wujie, Nantou, Taiwan, Spring 2017 (Elevation: 1,800m)
Rich floral and peach flavors with a subtle citrus finish
He Huan Shan is located in between Nantou and Hualien, and some finest teas are from this mountain, including this one. Wujie is an area in this mountain that is made up of only about 10 tea producers. Teas from Wujie are considered as very high-quality products, and usually, their price range is greater than those from Lishan.
To maximize the advantage of high mountain teas, the tea was sterilized at a high temperature, and as a result, bad smells were removed and the taste became even cleaner. In addition, that kind of process helps the tea preserve longer than other high mountain teas. However, it is better to brew as quickly as possible once the package is opened.
