Everyday Wenshan Baozhong Oolong Tea, Spring 2019
Qing Xin/Pinglin, Taiwan, Spring 2019 (Elevation: 400m)
In Taiwan, there is a saying, “North Wenshan, South Dong Ding (北文山 南凍頂).” Before High Mountain tea was first introduced, these were the two most popular types of Taiwanese tea. Without a doubt, Wenshan Baozhong is still one of the most beloved Taiwanese teas, and this tea shows why.
This Everyday Wenshan Baozhong is from Pinglin, the most well-known Baozhong tea region in the Wenshan District of Taiwan. Despite the low altitude, the climate and natural conditions in the tea garden are very similar to those from High Mountain tea gardens. Every tea season that we visited this garden, we witnessed heavy fog and drizzle, which make a positive impact on tea’s quality.
This Baozhong is made with a high level of perfection and promises one of the greatest price-performance ratios among all Daurim teas. We are confident that this Everyday Wenshan Baozhong will be a great addition to your daily tea routine.
You will notice very clean and crisp flavors with a pleasing abundance of floral bouquets, followed by a long-lasting aftertaste. We hardly sensed any bitterness from its flavor.
